The product of over 3 years of research the GuD Panel introduces an entirely new concept of pure diffusion into the world of QRD’s.

Designed to reduce or eliminate the absorption that inhibits the efficiency of QRD’s the GuD panel produces brilliant, smooth diffusion characteristics over a wide frequency range.

Note the lack of absorption below the operating range of the diffuser. The ACAD technology of the GuD panel allows low frequencies to view the panel as a specular reflection. This, in turn, increases the efficiency greatly by eliminating the wave disturbances caused by the low frequencies. The result is a smooth, linear rise in the scattering with the highest coefficients of any diffuser available.

Note also the low frequency range of the GuD panel. The 2” GuD Panel is effective at least a full octave lower than any other QRD design. This enables us to achieve greater results with thinner panels than previously thought based on Schroeder’s equation. The absorption coefficient in the operating range is believed to be primarily due to edge diffraction and does not affect the efficiency of the unit.

The GuD Panel is a solid wood or GFRG product and is available in standard 1” and 2” thicknesses. The standard panel is 24” x 24” but can be designed to meet many different requirements.  Call us to discuss your needs and designs concepts. We’re here to serve you.
